LETTERING.
WORDS ON SKIN.

A name. A date. A line that keeps you going. Lettering is the most personal tattoo — and the easiest to get wrong: one wrong letter, a font that doesn't heal, a size that can't be read. Here it's designed like typography, not scribbled like a note.

What we write

Names — children, parents, your own. Dates, in numerals or Roman numerals. Quotes and lyrics, in Greek or English. One word that says it all. Signatures — your mother's, the way she wrote it. Greek letters and ancient Greek for visitors who want the real alphabet, not a lookalike. And everything in between: 'we'll write whatever you want' with one condition — you know what it means.

Lettering styles

Script: calligraphic, flowing, connected — for names and phrases you want to run along the body. Clean serif or sans: for dates, words and Roman numerals you want steady and serious. Gothic and blackletter: heavy, with presence. Handwriting: the way the person you love writes. Each style has a different minimum size to heal properly.

Size and placement

Letters spread a little over the years — that's why there is a minimum height, especially for script with thin connections. Lettering follows the body: along the forearm, the collarbone, the ribs, the spine, the inner arm, the wrist. We'll show you how it sits on the spot before the needle touches.

Before anything is written forever

Spelling, accents, punctuation, the right date — we check them with you on the stencil, letter by letter. Phrases in a foreign language: bring the source, not a phone translation. Greek lettering for visitors: we make sure it's real Greek, spelled the way a Greek would write it. Lettering isn't easy to fix afterwards.

Lettering with a design

A word inside fine-line flowers. A date beneath a portrait. A name that becomes part of a sleeve. Lettering ties in with every other style — and we design it that way from the start.

Can I choose the font?+

Yes — bring an example or we choose together. We'll adapt it so it heals properly at the size you want.

How small can the letters be?+

There's a minimum height for each lettering style, so it still reads years later. We'll show you on the stencil.

Do you do Greek lettering tattoos?+

Of course — Greek, English, Roman numerals, ancient Greek. We check spelling and accents with you, so visitors get real Greek, not a guess.

Can I tattoo someone's signature or handwriting?+

Yes. We need a clean photo or scan of the original.

How much is a lettering tattoo in Patras?+

Small words and dates have a fixed price; longer phrases depend on length and style. Send the text and the placement.

What if I want to cover a name later?+

Names are usually easy to cover. See the cover-up page — but better to think first.
