The artist
Spartak Shabani — Spartakos to everyone. Tattoo artist and piercer in Patras, with a focus on custom designs: black & grey realism, fine line, lettering, geometric work, cover-ups. Every piece in the portfolio and on Instagram came from his hands — there's no rotating team, no apprentice who'll tattoo you instead of him.
Took part in the Tirana International Tattoo Expo 2024, alongside artists from across the Balkans. Speaks Greek and English, and talks the design through with you until it's right — not until you give up.
The space
Maizonos 7-9, in the centre of Patras, a few minutes' walk from Georgiou Square and Riga Feraiou street. Glass, marble and metal at the entrance, clean surfaces inside. A workspace, not a showroom: the bed, the light, the supplies — everything in its place, everything for the work.
Hygiene and the law
Single-use needles and grips, gloves, a single-use sheet on the work surface, an autoclave for anything reusable, a sharps bin. Piercing jewellery in titanium or surgical steel, as Greek law requires of tattoo and piercing studios. If you want to see the needle packet opened in front of you, ask — that's how it's done anyway.

How we work
By appointment, so every piece gets the time it needs. Open Monday to Saturday. Message, call or DM — we reply fast, except when the needle is on skin. You see the design first, as a stencil, and change it as much as needed. You leave with written aftercare and know you can come back with any question.
Reviews
We don't write what clients say — they do. Reviews of the studio are public on Google and Instagram, with photos of fresh and healed tattoos. Read them before you decide; that's what they're for.
Coming from further away
Patras is a university city and the gateway to Italy: Erasmus students, university students, travellers from the port and visitors from Aigio, Pyrgos, Agrinio and all of Achaia often book ahead.
