Piercing · face & body

LIP, EYEBROW
& BODY.

Beyond ear and nose: face and body piercings are bolder, more visible — and need more careful placement, because they move with the mouth, the eyes, the body. Here's what we do, how each one heals and what to think about first.

Lip: labret, vertical labret, medusa, monroe

Labret: below the lower lip, centre or side, with a flat-back stud — the classic. Vertical labret: a curved bar passing vertically through the lower lip, both ends visible — it never touches teeth or gums. Medusa (philtrum): in the dip above the upper lip, centred. Monroe: upper left or right, like a beauty spot. Snake bites: two labrets, symmetrical. Healing 6–8 weeks for most, with swelling in the first days — which is why the first piece is longer and we downsize afterwards, so it doesn't rub on teeth.

Eyebrow

A curved bar through the skin of the brow, usually the outer third. A surface piercing, so angle and depth decide whether it lasts: too shallow migrates, too deep swells. Healing 6–8 weeks. No glasses pressing on it, no sleeping on it.

Tongue

A straight bar through the centre of the tongue, placed with care for the vessels and the nerve. Swelling for the first 3–5 days — soft food, cold water, no alcohol or smoking. Healing 4–6 weeks, one of the fastest. Then a downsize to a shorter bar so it doesn't knock on teeth.

Nipple

A straight horizontal bar in titanium, at the right length for swelling. Slow healing — 6–12 months — because the spot rubs against clothes. Done with full discretion, by appointment, in a closed room. Ask us anything beforehand, by message.

What applies to all of them

Single-use needle, never a gun. Titanium or surgical steel jewellery, as the law requires, with a downsize after healing. Follow-up whenever you need it. From 18 with ID. And an honest word first: a facial piercing shows in every meeting, every photo — if you're not sure, a septum can be hidden, a labret can't.

Does a lip piercing hurt?+

A pinch and pressure. The swelling in the first days bothers you more than the piercing itself.

Will a labret damage my teeth?+

With the right length and a downsize after the swelling, the jewellery doesn't rub on teeth or gums. That's what the post-healing check is for.

How long does an eyebrow take to heal?+

6–8 weeks. It's a surface piercing — it needs the right angle and no pressure.

How much does the tongue swell?+

Quite a bit in the first 3–5 days. Cold water, soft food, no alcohol. Then it goes down fast.

Do you do nipple piercings?+

Yes, by appointment and with full discretion. Ask us by message.

How much is a lip or eyebrow piercing in Patras?+

Send the placement and we reply with a price — titanium jewellery and instructions included.

Can I hide a facial piercing?+

A septum, yes. Labret, medusa and eyebrow always show — there is subtle jewellery, but not invisible.
